My Catio
Occasionally I get asked “what is a catio?” and I answer in a variety of ways. Such as “think dog kennel for cats” or “patio for cats”. And I usually get confused looks in return. A longer, more detailed answer, is that a catio is an outdoor enclosure that allows a cat to be outside and yet safe from danger. And they come in so many sizes and a variety of materials. Tents and/or tunnels made of a see-through mesh material. Wood and metal wire constructs of every size imaginable. Pepper Pot
This little twerp is Pepper Pot. I found her in my backyard a few weeks before last years’ Halloween. I simply can not ignore black cats or dogs. So today is her “spa day”. She had all the tests for FLV and etc and they all came back negative. Yay. I figure she’s about 7 months old, and she weighed in at a little over 6 pounds. Just a little thing. The Habitat for Humanity Way I’ve been agonizing for a few years about what to do with some brand new stuff that I’ve never gotten around to using. Let me clarify that: For the last few years since I retired, I’ve been slowly getting rid of small and sundry things and lots of clothes via the Salvation Army.
